Before 2000, when transportation was not as accessible, the people of Lac Duong and Dam Rong mainly traveled along the Lomburr path to exchange food supplies. They would carry precious goods from Lac Duong to Dam Rong and vice versa. People suffering from serious illnesses or those seeking higher education also had to pass through this route to reach Da Lat.
The name "Lomburr" comes from the fact that each time the locals carried food from Dam Rong to Lac Duong, they had to climb a steep, tall slope. Because they had to bend down, with their lips nearly touching the ground, the path was called Lomburr, which means "lip" in the K'Ho language. "Lomburr" is not just a path, but also a symbol of the resilience and strength of the K'Ho people.
